STUDENTS had high praise for a free Driver Theory course that DTP is run-ning with Donegal ETB and Donegal Local Development Company.

The course, which prepares students for the written test that they must pass for an Irish driver’s license, is being taught by former driving school instruc-tor Geraldine McNamee at Planet Youth in Ballybofey.

“She’s a really good teacher teaching it,” said Pauline Green. “She does it in a way that it sticks with you. She’d even come one-to-one to help you.”

“I’m enjoying it,” said John Arnold. “It’s great doing it in a group. If you’re doing it on your own you might miss things.”

“It’s great because you’re mixing with people,” said Mark. “It’s a good learning experience, too. She’s a very, very nice instructor. She explains things and goes into all the detail with you.”

“Geraldine is brilliant,” said Ellen Harvey. “If you have difficulties under-standing, she makes you understand. She won’t let you go home that you don’t know. When it goes in, it’s in.”
