Mental Health is everyone’s responsibility – it is a fundamental part of who we are.
It determines and influences so many aspects to our lives, how we view ourselves, our relationships, our work etc. But how much do you really know about it and how to look after it?
DLDC will be holding a FREE workshop in Market Hall, Glenties, on Tuesday 7th November 10am – 1pm
‘Mind Your Mental Health’ Workshop which we are delighted to be offering in conjunction with Mental Health Ireland and Bill Vaughan.
Most people at some point or other feel worried, stressed or even down about things that are going on in their lives. Difficult experiences in life, of whatever sort, can have an impact on our mental health.
The aim of this workshop is to;
- Provide participants with tools and strategies to enhance their mental health and well-being.
- Increase awareness and understanding of mental health and well-being.
- Promote the range of supports and resources available, both formal and informal.
- Look at Stress and Thinking Patterns.
The 3 hour session is delivered in a workshop format i.e. it includes presentations, case studies and group activities.
