|Invitation to Tender: Donegal Community Governance LEADERship Project – Train the Trainer Element Introduction This is a project developed by and supporting groups in the Donegal Local Development CLG catchment area under the LEADER element of Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.
DLDC has extensive experience in the delivery and management of National Government funded and EU Programmes and has delivered programmes through a partnership approach, since the organisations establishment in 1995. DLDC currently manages a range of different Government funded programmes under contract to include the Rural Development Programme (LEADER), Social Inclusion & Community Activation Programme (SICAP), Jobs Club, Job Initiative, RSS Programme, TUS Programme, Donegal Volunteer Centre, Traveller Job Club, Rural Recreation Programme, CE Childcare Scheme and other complementary services i.e. the Regional Employment Service.
Tender Outline Donegal Local Development CLG wishes to engage suitably qualified individual(s) and or organisation(s) to undertake the provision the train the trainer, monitor & evaluation elements of a community focused Governance Project for community groups and organisations within the traditional DLDC catchment area (Central Donegal, excluding Inishowen & the Gaeltacht). This project will be focused on supporting the appointed trainers in the development of Governance capabilities in line with groups and organisations identified as Type B groups in accordance with the classification of the Governance Code www.governancecode.ie . The Aim of this element of the project is to support the 6-8 trainers including monitoring & evaluation in working with the 48 local groups and organisations in achieving compliance with the standards of the Governance Code. The appointed trainers will deliver training on the project & code to trainers who will in turn facilitate groups in a number of regional and local sessions to support them on developing their in house capacity to secure improved Governance.

Submission of tenders This “Donegal Community Governance LEADERship” project is contingent on LEADER grant aid being awarded. Two hard copies of the tender should be provided with a soft copy.
