Chatting to my Child about Alcohol and Other Drugs

All parents want their children to have healthy attitudes towards alcohol and other drugs. The earlier you start chatting with your child about alcohol and other drug use, the greater chances are that you will have a positive influence in this area.

We know that young people who begin drinking before age 14 are 4 times more likely to develop alcohol dependence during their lifetime than those who begin drinking at age 21.

Research tells us that young people look to their parents for advice about drugs and alcohol and really value their parent point of view.

This workshop will be held on Tuesday 1st May 2018 @ 7pm in the Niall Mor Centre, Killybegs.

The Workshop will guide you in being clear where you stand, honest and informed when talking to your child about alcohol and other drugs.
