DLDC Directors Retirement Party at the Central

Donegal Local Development CLG hosted a celebration for retiring Directors in the Central Hotel, Donegal Town. Seven directors retired at the recent AGM and they with their families were celebrated and acknowledged by the current Directors and Staff of DLDC. Jim Slevin outgoing Chairperson stated that “It was an honour to serve as DLDC Chair, enabling the delivery of vital community services to the people of Donegal”, he further commended the hard work and dedication of both the Board and Staff of DLDC who, “daily give their all to deliver better outcomes for communities across Donegal”.


Padraic Fingleton, CEO, thanked the retiring directors for the many years of support, experience and wisdom that they brought to the Board. The retiring directors are; Jim Slevin, John Starrett, Patrick Sweeney, Geraldine Boyce, P.J. Hannon, Michael Mullen and Johnny Ward.


DLDC delivers fourteen National & EU Funded programmes across Donegal with an operation staff of 60, under the direction of a Board of 20 volunteers nominated by the Community, Business and Statutory sectors.
