Lorraine McGowan Registered Public Health Nutritionist showing us how to make Porridge Bread. The Ingredients: 500g carton natural yoghurt1 large egg2 x 500g carton of porridge oats 2 x bicarbonate soda 1/4 tsp salt The Method: Preheat oven to 200c or gas mark 6. Put yoghurt in bowl. Make a well in the middle of yoghurt and add egg. Refill yoghurt carton twice with oats and mix in bicarbonate soda and salt. Mix until well combined.Lightly oil a loaf tin and tip oat mixture in.Bake in centre of oven for 45 mins. After 45 mins remove from tin and return the loaf to the oven for a further 5 mins to dry crusts out. Leave to cool on wire rack then slice and enjoy 😋
