Nutritionist Lorraine McGowan is making homemade Granola this week. Ingredients: 2 cups porridge oats 1 cup mixed nuts 1/4 cup mixed seeds 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 5 tablespoons honey 3 tablespoons of olive oil or rapeseed 1 cup dried fruit Zest of 1 orangeMethod: 1. Preheat oven to 150 degree2.Put oats, nuts, seeds in large bowl3. Add honey, oil, cinnamon, vanilla and zest mix well4. Bake for 25-30 minutes5. Every 7-10 minutes take out and stir, then smooth down and put back in oven6. When granola is golden brown, remove from oven and allow to cool7. Mix in dried fruit and roughly chop 8. Serve with yoghurt/milk and fruit 9. Store the remaining granola in an airtight container for up to two weeks. 10. Enjoy 😊
