CLAR Funded Projects

DLDC administers the CLAR programme in Partnership with the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs within the companys catchment region.

The CLAR programme assists rural development project promoters within regions designated as being a CLAR area, having witnessed significant population decline.

Special assistance grant aid for businesses and rural development projects within such regions includes: Community Inititaives, three phase elecricity conversion, a village enhancement scheme and a bi-lingual signage scheme.

The CLAR Programme is still open for applications in 2007.
