Transnational & Interterritorial Funds

Pictured below are a selection of photographs from a trans-national exchange project which took place in 2005 between Skye and Lochalsh Enterprise, a LEADER+ enterprise based in the Isle of Skye, Scotland, with DLDC in based in Donegal. Representatives from Donegal had an opportunity to visit LEADER+ funded projects in Scotland and to exchange project ideas and best-practives with LEADER+ representatives in Skye. These Skye representatives then visited Donegal to explore visit Donegal funded projects and to explore ideas as regards further development of the trans-national partnership on a project basis. Among the commonalities between the two regions is the local heritage, particularly in respect of St. Colmcille.
